The Delta FC Soccer Club is proud to host the Inaugural Delta FC Memorial Day Invitational Tournament and College Showcase. The Tournament will be held on May 24-26, 2008 at the new Citizens Bank Fields at Progin Park in Lancaster, MA. This incredible complex has 16 11 v 11 fields, including 5 artificial turf fields. It is considered to be the best soccer complex in New England and probably the entire Eastern Sea Coast.
We expect this inaugural event to attract many of the best teams in New England as well as top competition from region 1 for the college showcase. As this event will be very popular, apply early to reserve your spot in the tournament now.

Sanctioned
For 2008 the Delta FC Memorial Day Invitational and College Showcase is sanctioned by both USYSA and MYSA.
Rules
A minimum of 3 games are guaranteed (See Acceptance). All games will be played in accordance with FIFA Laws, except as modified by Tournament Rules. Tournament Rules are posted on this website and can be downloaded for print.
Age Groups
Teams are based on USSF/USYSA age groups:
U-18 Born on or after August 1, 1989
U-17 Born on or after August 1, 1990
U-16 Born on or after August 1, 1991
U-15 Born on or after August 1, 1992
U-14 Born on or after August 1, 1993
U-13 Born on or after August 1, 1994
U-12 Born on or after August 1, 1995
U-11 Born on or after August 1, 1996
U-10 Born on or after August 1, 1997
U-9 Born on or after August 1, 1998
Format
U9s & U10s will play 8 v 8
U11s & U12s will play 11 v 11
U13s and up will play 11 v 11
Divisions
Elite: Top Club, Regional and Tournament Teams
Premier: Developing Club and Town Teams
The intention of the tournament is to match all teams against competition that is appropriate for their level of play.
Registration
Mandatory team registration for all teams will be held from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23rd,2008 at the Tournament Headquarters located at The Four Points by Sheraton Leominster.
The following items are needed for team registration:
· 2007/08 Certified State/National Team Roster (Original and two copy)
· Medical release forms for each player (download here if you need one)(Do not have to be notarized)
· 2007/08 Player Passes for each player
· Permission to Travel Form (if necessary)
Permission to travel forms are not required for teams from Massachusetts.
Teams may not play without having registered under penalty of forfeiture of games and entry fee.
Referees
A USSF three-man referee system will be used to the maximum extent possible for all matches with emphasis on divisions U-12 and up. Awards
Each player on the Championship and Runner-up teams will receive a custom tournament medallion. Younger teams (GU 9 through GU14) are encouraged to participate in a patch or pin exchange at the conclusion of each match.

Medical Releases
In compliance with the USYSA Youth Soccer Tournament/Games Hosting Agreement, it is mandatory that 2007/2008 medical authorizations for each player be presented at Registration and retained at the field by the team. No player may play without a valid medical release under penalty of forfeiture of the game played in. These medical release forms do not need to be notarized.

All Entry Fees must be postmarked by April 15, 2008 to guarantee consideration. All late applications will be put on a wait list for review. Upon acceptance, the fee is non-refundable. If your team is accepted and later withdraws, the entry fee is non-refundable and sanctions will be placed against your team/club for future participation in Delta FC events.
Check or Money Order Payments:
All Check or Money Order entries must be postmarked by April 15, 2008 and should be made payable to T&M Sports Enterprises. All entry fees received through check or money order are deposited immediately and refunded within 2 weeks of non-acceptance. Teams must include with your entry fee your teams “certificate of entry” or copy of e-mail entry confirmation. Acceptance
Participation is not final until acceptances are announced on March 30, 2008. Acceptances will be posted on the Tournament Website. Note: No refunds will be made in the event the tournament is cancelled in whole or in part due to inclement weather, adverse field conditions or circumstances beyond the Tournament's control.
